TraceabilityDo you know what is in your packaging?
We do. Our pulp fiber comes from our own fields. Because Aloterra is fully vertically integrated, we control our entire raw material supply chain from soil to finished product. The entire manufacturing process occurs in Aloterra facilities under our watch. |
SustainabilityAloterra believe that transparency and the integrity of
sustainability claims for the entire supply chain is critically important for
customers transitioning to Made in the USA foodservice ware. With that in mind,
the entire supply chain – from the growing of the crops, to the pulp, to the
final foodservice package – will be independently certified to The Roundtable
on Sustainable Biomaterials (“RSB”) standard.
Our packaging is made from MxG Eco-Fibers - a sustainable non-wood pulp. The rapidly renewable fiber is made from Miscanthus, which uses zero pesticides, 1/3 the fertilizer of annual crops, doesn't cause soil erosion after year 1, and only uses herbicides for the first 2 years of the 20+ year crop life cycle. |
Food Safety
Check back for announcements regarding Aloterra's food safety program, which will be GMP/HACCP compliant.

"Our customers will have the peace of mind of knowing exactly where all of the product’s ingredients are sourced and that the sustainability claims are legitimate."
