We Are Expanding
|
Your acres create local jobs. Because of landowners like you, Aloterra planted 4,000 acres in 2011 and 2012. We opened our first manufacturing facility in NE Ohio in 2014 and in August 2015 we opened our second facility. Because of your acres, Aloterra now employees over 70 full time workers in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Excited by our success, in August 2015 the USDA announced that it was supporting an expansion, which resulted in the community bringing acres into our project. As a result, we are now farming over 4,600 acres in the region and are looking to plant an 2,500 acres. We are continuing to reach out to the NE Ohio and NW Pennsylvania communities to ask landowners to lease us their land and for local producers to grow our Miscanthus. Your acres will help us to expand our product and manufacturing lines, which will create even more jobs! |
Landowners |
We are seeking to lease land located inside of the light green area in the map above. Our terms are generous, reasonable, and increase significantly once the crop is established. We are interested in any type of land (idle, marginal, hay, and grain), but we are focused primarily on using marginal, idle, and hay acres.
